The diagram below provides a visual reference of the sections that have been completed and assembled as of December 5, 2018 (in red) and of those sections that are currently in production (in green).
Magellan Explorer offers seven categories of accommodation, including a spacious suite that includes a living room and generous sleeping quarters. All cabins will have private balconies except two in the Porthole category. The ship features a glass-enclosed observation lounge, a spacious and stylish dining room, a well-stocked bar, library, meeting room, gym, and sauna. The forward-facing observation deck is accessible to guests to offer proximity to marine wildlife while onboard. to take a better look, please check out the video rendering below of Magellan Explorer.
Magellan Explorer, which joins Ocean Nova and Hebridean Sky as our third ship in our fleet of air-cruise offerings, gives our guests an unparalleled experience that includes flying over the turbulent waters of the Drake Passage and boarding the ship directly in Antarctica. This means you skip the 2-day sea voyage from South America to Antarctica and the discomfort of unpredictable seas, ensuring your comfort. You just enjoy the best part: exploring the remote and natural landscape of the 7th continent.
